This book is dedicated to
the memory of my husband Liborio,
who was with me in spirit
through every word.
It is a lasting tribute to his undying love,
courage and indomitable spirit,
which made it become a reality.

Together we were so happy.
Hand in hand we met life’s challenges.
Side by side we shared our dreams.

Together we clung in stormy weather,
we walked in sunshine and rain,
sharing love, sorrow and pain.

Together we knew the wonder
of moonlight and starlit skies and
the magical sound of ocean waves.

Together in spirit forevermore,
for time can never dim the past.
